Supporting Sound, Vision, and a Vital Cause: GSL Events at Home Farm Festival 2025

Nestled in the Somerset countryside just outside Yeovil, Home Farm Festival has grown to become a staple of the summer calendar—not just for its eclectic music, family-friendly atmosphere, and unforgettable food, but for its unwavering support of a life-changing cause: School in a Bag.

We’ve had the privilege of supporting Home Farm Festival with full technical production for over a decade, and 2025 was our biggest and boldest year yet.

From humble beginnings on a single stage to now delivering sound, lighting, staging, video, power and infrastructure across six diverse performance areas, our team has worked side-by-side with the organisers every step of the way. It’s an event that reflects everything we love about the live events industry—community, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose.

The Domer Stage - Raising the Roof (Literally)

At the heart of the site, our Milos MR1 roof system stood tall over the main stage, complete with PA and video wall wings, a secure pit barrier, and a crisp, festival-ready sound system.

This year’s audio setup featured a d&b audiotechnik Y Series PA with V Subs, powered by a DiGiCo SD9—delivering powerful clarity and consistency for a wide mix of acts throughout the weekend, from up-and-coming bands to headline performers.

Tailored Solutions for Every Stage

Each corner of the site had its own personality—and its own tailored setup. The Dutch Barn Stage, always a festival favourite, was treated to an EM Acoustics Reference Series system that filled the unique space with warmth and precision. Meanwhile, other stages were seamlessly managed using our ALLEN & HEATH SQ Series digital consoles—fast, flexible, and perfectly suited to Home Farm’s busy performance schedule.

LED Visuals with Impact

We installed two large video walls at the Domer Stage and Loyd Lounge, offering vibrant visuals in all weather conditions. Whether it was live camera feeds, custom content, or essential updates for audiences, the screens helped enhance engagement throughout the weekend.

Powering the Festival from the Ground Up

Beyond the stage, our team provided the full site power infrastructure, keeping food vendors, crew areas, artist green rooms, and back-of-house services fully operational. In the evenings, over 700 metres of festoon lighting brought a warm, welcoming glow to the site—helping to transform Home Farm into a beautifully lit festival village.

A new addition this year was the ‘Eyeful Tower’, a bespoke viewing platform that quickly became one of the festival’s most-loved features. We supplied custom architectural lighting to ensure it looked stunning from every angle—day or night.

Supporting School in a Bag

What makes Home Farm Festival truly special is its deep connection to School in a Bag, a charity that delivers essential educational resources to children affected by poverty, conflict, or natural disasters. Every ticket sold, every burger bought, and every pint pulled helps fund schoolbags filled with stationery, learning tools, and hope.

It’s an honour to play a part in an event that doesn’t just entertain—but changes lives.

As long-term supporters of the festival, we’ve seen first-hand how it’s evolved into something extraordinary—and we’re proud to have grown alongside it. From sound, lighting, and staging to video, power, and infrastructure, we love helping bring this unique celebration to life.

We’re already looking forward to returning in 2026—bigger, better, and brighter than ever.
